ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Katie! I'm an ex-emergency nurse and a mum to my lovely 8 year old girl. I discovered a passion for art after years of searching for my purpose in life! I've been drawing since childhood, but it wasn't until 2023 that I decided to take the leap and pursue my dream of becoming a full-time artist. I stumbled upon an inspirational teacher on Instagram, Mural Nomad, who encouraged me to keep creating and gave me the confidence to paint walls for people, creating and transforming spaces. As I continue to learn and develop my personal style, I am grateful to be on this journey of self-discovery and self-expression. I am passionate about creating meaningful connections through my art. Working closely with business owners and homeowners on their art piece has been an intimate and personal experience, and I've enjoyed seeing the community's response to my public work. Painting takes me away and makes me feel alive, and I am grateful for every opportunity that comes my way.

 

I'm a spiritual person, and I hope to incorporate helping others and giving back with my art in the future in a big way that impacts people's confidence and inspires them to create the life they want to live.
